The Time Machine Promoter

Lina is at the top of her game. She’s a Promoter – someone who helps to get people interested in products and services. She’s always on the lookout for new opportunities, and she’s never afraid to take risks.

But when she’s approached by a group of scientists who want her to help promote their latest invention, she has doubts. It’s a machine that they say can send people back in time. Lina is sceptical, but she’s also curious.

She decides to take on the challenge, and she quickly discovers that the machine works. She’s sent back to ancient Egypt, where she meets a young woman named Nefertiti. Lina is amazed by the beauty and culture of the times, and she quickly falls in love with the place.

With the help of the machine, Lina is able to show Nefertiti all sorts of interesting things from the future. She introduces her to the concept of marketing, and Nefertiti is soon enthusiastic about the possibilities.

Together, they start to promote the time machine to the people of Egypt. It’s a tough sell, but Lina is confident that they can do it.

Camp Clear Creek

It was a dark and stormy night. The kind of night that made you want to curl up in a ball and hide under the covers. But there was no hiding from the things that lurked in the darkness.

The campground was eerily quiet. The only sound was the gentle rustle of the leaves in the trees. But even that was enough to make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

You huddled close to the fire, trying to take comfort in its warmth. But it did little to chase away the chill that had taken up residence in your bones.

There was a crack of thunder and you jumped, startled. The rain began to fall in earnest, beating against the ground and the trees.

Suddenly, you heard a branch snap. Something was coming closer. Closer.

You tensed, ready to run. But before you could even stand up, it was upon you.

The wind picked up, howling through the trees. The fire crackled and popped, sending sparks into the air. You pulled your blanket tighter around you, trying to block out the sound of the storm. But no matter how hard you tried, you couldn’t shake the feeling that something was watching you.

The branch of a tree snapped, causing you to jump. Your heart pounded in your chest as you scanned the darkness for the source of the noise. But all you could see were the shadows, dancing in the firelight.

You told yourself it was just the wind, that there was nothing out there. But deep down, you knew that wasn’t true. There were things in the darkness, things that were waiting to hurt you.

The fire died down, leaving you in darkness. You huddled closer to the embers, desperately trying to keep warm. And as you sat there, you could feel the eyes of the darkness watching you, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

The next morning, you woke up to find the tree branch lying next to you. There was no sign of the creature that you were sure was watching you.
