She was known as the Lady of the Lake, and she was said to be the most beautiful woman in all the land. She lived in a secluded castle, surrounded by a clear blue lake. Many men had tried to court her, but she had never shown any interest in any of them.One day, a young knight came to her castle, hoping to win her heart. He had heard of her beauty and wanted to see if she was as perfect as they said. When he saw her, he instantly fell in love with her. He asked her to marry him, but she said no.
