I see a cannon,
Drenched in a black rain.
It stands on a battlement,
Gazing out at the town below.
In the distance,
I can see a monument on a hillside.
It is a reminder of the past,
And of the battles that were fought here.
The cannon is a symbol of the strength of the town,
And its ability to withstand any attack.
It is a reminder that we are always ready to defend our home,
And that we will never give up.
Very true, Henrietta. It is sad that even in this day in age people are having to fight to protect their towns and cities. Thank you for a very thoughtful entry to #writephoto. KL <3
U are welcome
Confusing. There are several definitions of canon, but cannon is not one of them. Nice idea though.
This is a poem ma’am . I made a mistake and wrote canon instead of cannon. I did correct my post.U have a great day ma’am.
Well done 🙂
Thank u ma’am
