Miner John and the Lost Girl

Miner John was having a tough day. He had been mining all day and had only found a few measly pieces of coal.

As he was getting ready to pack up and head home, he heard a strange noise. It sounded like someone was crying.

He followed the noise and it led him to a small cave. Inside, he found a little girl crying. She was lost and scared.

John reassured her that he would help her get home safely. He took her hand and led her out of the cave. Soon, they were reunited with her worried family. John was a hero!
