A single petal
fluttering in the wind
a reminder that life is delicate
and beautiful
but also fleeting.

We must appreciate each moment
and each other
for we are all petals
on the great tree of life.

And when our time comes
to flutter to the ground
we will take with us
only the love we’ve shared.
