The terrible thing about death is that it’s final. There’s no going back, no do-overs. Once someone is dead, that’s it. They’re gone forever.

For some people, that’s a comforting thought. They know that their loved ones are in a better place and that they’ll see them again someday. But for others, it’s a dark and scary prospect.

Death is a part of life, but that doesn’t make it any less terrifying.
