Standing Up for Herself

It was always mean of Johnny to pick on his little sister. She was always trying to be helpful and do her best, but he would never let her forget that she was the younger one. He would always find ways to make her feel bad or embarrass her in front of their friends. Even when she would try to stand up for herself, he would find a way to put her back in her place.

One day, after a particularly nasty prank he had pulled on her, his sister had had enough. She took her mean brother by surprise and gave him a good, hard push. He fell to the ground and stared up at her in shock.

“Don’t you ever try to bully me again,” she said, her voice trembling with anger. “I’m not your little sister anymore. I’m done with you.”

And with that, she turned and walked away, leaving her mean brother behind.
