The Allowance

When I was a kid, my allowance was a big deal to me. It was my opportunity to earn money and buy the things I wanted. I always made sure to save up my allowance so I could buy what I wanted.

One of the things I always wanted was a new bike. I would see other kids riding around on their bikes and I just knew that I wanted one. So, I saved up my allowance for months and finally had enough to buy the bike I wanted.

It was the best feeling in the world to finally have my own bike. I rode it everywhere, and it was just so much fun. I even started doing tricks on it and entering bike competitions. I was just so happy to have my own bike.

Eventually, I outgrew my bike and had to get a new one. But even now, when I look back on those days, I can still remember the feeling of finally getting my bike after saving up my allowance. It was one of the best moments of my childhood.
