A Day of Mud and Fun

One day, little Jimmy was playing in the mud. He loved the feel of the wet, slimy mud squishing between his toes. His mom called him inside for lunch, but Jimmy didn’t want to stop playing.

He begged and pleaded, but his mom said no. Jimmy was so sad that he refused to eat his lunch. His mom told him that if he didn’t eat, he couldn’t go back outside to play. Jimmy thought about it for a minute, and then decided that he would rather eat lunch so he could go back outside and play in the mud.
