It was Jennifer’s first day of kindergarten and she was so excited. She had been looking forward to this day for months. Her mom walked her to the door of the school and gave her a big hug.

“I’m so proud of you, Jennifer. You’re going to have so much fun today.”

Jennifer walked into the school and found her classroom. She met her teacher, Mrs. Wilkinson, and all of her new classmates. She quickly made friends and before she knew it, the day was over.

Jennifer was so happy when she walked out of the school with her mom. She had loved her first day of kindergarten and couldn’t wait to go back the next day.
