The coach of the football team was always yelling at his players. He was always telling them to run faster and hit harder. The players were afraid of him and they tried their best to please him. But, no matter how hard they tried, they could never seem to make him happy.
One day, after practice, one of the players came up to the coach and asked him why he was always so angry. The coach looked at the player and said, “I’m not angry, I’m just trying to make you better.”
The player didn’t understand what the coach meant, but he nodded his head and went on his way. From that day forward, the players started to see the coach in a different light. They realized that he wasn’t angry at them, he was just trying to make them the best that they could be.
