The War profiteer

It was the early days of the war and supplies were becoming scarce. The rationing system had not yet been put into place and people were starting to panic. There was a shortage of food, medicine, and fuel. The government was doing their best to keep the populace calm, but it was becoming increasingly difficult.

In the midst of all this, one woman decided to take matters into her own hands. She started a black market business, selling whatever she could get her hands on. She made a fortune off of the war, while the rest of the country was struggling to survive.

Eventually, the government caught wind of her operation and she was arrested. But even in jail, she continued to find ways to make money. She was a true entrepreneur, even in the face of hardship.
