It was Mrs. Granger’s first day of teaching at Peekskill Middle School. She was excited to meet her new students and start the school year off right. But she quickly realized that teaching was not going to be as easy as she thought.
Most of her students were uninterested in learning. They were more concerned with talking to their friends, playing on their phones, and causing trouble. Mrs. Granger tried her best to engage her students, but it was a constant battle.
At the end of the day, Mrs. Granger was exhausted. She was ready to give up and go home. But then she thought about all of the students who need her. They might not realize it, but they need someone to believe in them.
So Mrs. Granger decided to come back the next day and try again. She was going to be the teacher that her students needed, even if it was unconventional.
Good for her! If only there were more teachers out there like that.
