The Power of Duty

Duty is a word that often carries a lot of weight. For some, it is a sense of duty to oneself that drives them to achieve greatness. For others, it is a sense of duty to others that compels them to selflessly give of themselves. And still for others, it is a sense of duty to a higher power that guides their every action. Whatever form it takes, duty is a powerful motivator.

For Alex, duty was a way of life. Growing up, she had always been driven to succeed. Her parents instilled in her a strong work ethic and a sense of responsibility. From a young age, she was taught that it was her duty to make the most of her talents and abilities. And she did just that.

Alex was always at the top of her class, and she worked hard to get there. But she didn’t do it for the glory or the accolades. She did it because she felt it was her duty to herself to be the best that she could be.
