A Stride Towards Success
Tom had always been an athletic person who loved running. As a kid, he would participate in marathons and races and win every time. But as he grew up, he got caught up with the daily grind of life and his passion for running took a backseat. However, he always missed the exhilarating feeling of running and the freedom it provided.
One day, Tom decided to lace up his shoes and go for a run after a long time. At first, he struggled to keep up with his own pace, but as he took each stride, he felt more confident. It was a beautiful day, and the sun was shining bright. The cool breeze brushed against his face, and he felt a renewed energy flowing through his veins.
Tom had set a target of running for a mile without stopping, and he was determined to achieve it. He pushed himself harder with each stride, and with every passing moment, he felt closer to his goal. His feet hit the ground tirelessly, and his breathing became more rhythmic. He felt like he had regained a part of himself that he had lost.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Tom completed his goal. He stopped at the edge of a park, panting and drenched in sweat. But he had a huge smile on his face because he had accomplished something that he thought was impossible.
From that day onwards, Tom started running regularly and even participated in a local marathon. He wasn’t in it to win, but because he enjoyed it. He had found his stride again, and it had brought him closer to his true self.
